This weekend we managed to not have any kids at home and celebrate our Anniversary, which isn't until March 7th. We never sleep past 8am on the weekends but Sunday we slept until 10am. My husband is a huge breakfast person; I am not. Most the the things we eat for breakfast are quick and easy.
It makes mornings with the kids move much smoother when I can pop something in the microwave while I pack lunches. This means they are getting breakfast and it is something more than cereal. Sunday we tried something new: Jimmy D's French Toast Griddlers with Turkey Sausage.
The bread was a little too sweet for my liking and it seemed to get hard very quickly once removed from the package. The sausage was a good and a great alternative to pork sausage. Thanks for the review as hubby had wanted to try these and now I am not so sure. Your family sounds like mine. Hig School sweethearts reunited after 25 years when my daughter was killed. He has 3 kids my daughter left behind 3 half brothers and a sister and now we have a son together who is 3.
