Auric Blends Review & Giveaway

I love to smell good. I love for others to smell good. Auric Blends is an amazing company that also believes in the power of smell. Recently we received a shipment from them that including some of their roll on oils and a solid perfume.

The solid perfume is in the coolest container but they sent me Gardenia, the one smell I don't like other than lavendar by itself. The solide perfume is very strong and this one ended up going to my mom's for her to use because unlike me, she likes the smell of Gardenia.

I was so impressed with the roll on perfumes. In our box was 4: Chinese Rain, Egyptian Goddess, Love and Sweet Rain. Let me just say that it was so hard for me to pick which one I liked the most. The scents are all amazing and they last FOREVER. Just a little roll on the wrist and I found myself smelling my own self all day long.

When JT got in from being gone all week, even he noticed the smell and how lovely it was. Auric Blends is honestly not something I would normally purchase, a little out of my own element, at least I thought but this year I have decided to try some things I normally wouldn't and I am glad I did.

Auric Blends is going to bless one of our readers with one of their products: either a solid perfume pot or a roll on perfume.

Suuthe Skin Care Review and Giveaway

My mom is not your typical mom. She never has been. Mom went from working at the court house in the neighboring county to working at the golf course on the grounds. It's not glamorous but if you knew my mom you would understand this is right up her alley. When I received the shipment in from Suuthe, I decided to let my mom be the one to test the products out for me and tell me her opinion. Since she sufferes from dry skin and works outside in the elements, this would be great.

Instead of giving the 3 products to her at once, I decided instead to give them to her one at a time starting with the small sample of Skin Repair. For Mom, anything that is very oily is great for her and she slathered it on her hands that have been cracking because of the weather. Later that night she told me her hands were still soft and she was going to put some more on before she went to bed. Before using the skin repair, her hands were very cracked, dry and her cuticles were in bad shape (I am going to learn to do before and after pics) but now you would never know it and this is a week after using it.

On day 3 I decided to give her the Facial Skin Moisturizer. After a week of using the facial moisturizer her face feels very smooth and it appears to me she doesn't look as wrinkled up as she normally does. I decided to try it too and with my super sensative, already oily skin, I ended up with a breakout instead but this appears to be great for someone with dry skin.

On day 5 I gave her the Lip Balm. Now remember that my mom is kind of old school even though she isn't much older than me and because it does not say SPF on the side of the container, this was her only complaint. I tried to explain to her that many natural ingredients have SPF properties but it was a no sale for Mom. She was grateful for the lip balm and said she like the way it smelled and went on but she felt like she did have to reapply it quite a bit.

Overall Mom was very satisfied with the way Suuthe worked and said she will be buying some when she gets close to being done with what she has.

Suuthe has decided to bless one of our readers with a package of products.

Stride Everyday Review and Giveaway

Let's face it ladies, something happens when we get older and/or when we have children. Our bladders just don't work the way they once did. I have given birth to 4 children and have to cross my legs when I sneeze or that icky thing happens where a little pee comes out. Ok guys I know this is gross but it's true and it happens to all of us. Out of all the things in the world, I wish I could have my bladder tacked back up to where it once was before I delivered children.

Some women pretend it doesn't happen, other wear pantyliners daily but a company called Stride Everyday elimintaed the need for embarassment and the need for use to use a pantyliner so of course, I had to try these out. I got the seamless panty in nude. Let me warn you that they run a little small so I do suggest watching what size you order. The ones I got were a little tight but I put them on so I could test it out.

Right now it's allergy season for me. I swear I'm allergic to everything that blooms in Spring so this was a good time to try these out. Let me tell you that they work great and you don't feel like there is any bulkly pad between your legs either. They feel just like normal panties only these are designed with a sewn in absorband material to trap odors and pull away the wetness for one of those just in case accidents.

The folks at Stride Everyday are nice enough to bless one of our readers with their own pair.

GIVEAWAY ENDS AT MIDNIGHT ON MAY 23RD. WINNER HAS 48 HOURS TO REPLY OR AN ALTERNATE WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN.

My Lip Stuff Review and Giveaway

I am not a big lip stick person but more of a gloss/chap stick kind of girl. As part of my resolutions for 2011, my family is going to try to use more organic and natural products to help the environment while also recycling and being more frugal. I was so excited to get a little shipment from My Lip Stuff.

My Lip Stuff is totally natural products that are never tested on animals. This is huge because we love our 2 doggies: Holly and Ruby. With over 500 flavors of lip balm plus other bath and body products, I was ready to try this product. I received a shipment of 3 lip balms: Strawberry, Peaches & Cream and Cinnamon Soy Latte. Because my mom works outside and is exposed to the elements, I let her chose the one she would like to try for me. Mom chose the Strawberry and after putting on her lips, she said she knew it was going to be good stuff. My mom has tried everything under the sun because of the wind and the rain. After several hours of riding the 4 wheeler, go cart and dirt bike, I noticed Mom had not applied the lip balm again. When I asked her, she mentioned that it was still working great. I decided to try the Cinnamon Soy Latte. It smelled wonderful and felt good on my wind burned lips.

My take on My Lip Stuff, everyone should have some. It is smooth from the first application, it works for hours and leaves your lips feeling amazing. In addition to the lip balm, My Lip Stuff also offers bath and body products. Labels can be standard but they will also customize labels for you if you want to provide My Lip Stuff for business promotional items, wedding favors and other events.

The folks at My Lip Stuff are going to be sending out 1 box of goodies to one of our readers.

GIVEAWAY ENDS AT MIDNIGHT ON MAY 23RD. THE WINNER HAS 48 HOURS TO REPLY OR A NEW WINNER WILL BE CHOSEN.

Good Clean Love Review

As many of your know, it is my goal this year to go as natural as possible so imagine my surprise when I discovered a company called Good Clean Love. Good Clean Love has products that are all natural that can be used in the bedroom. Like some of the other companies out there promoting with home parties, their products contain synthetic ingredients that could very well cause an allergic reaction.

I like the cocept behind Good Clean Love and was excited to get the shipment. I am currently reading a book they sent me and will do a review on it at another time. In the shipment I recieved there were 2 products along with the book.

The first product I took out was the Body Candy in Cocoa Mint

It states right on the package that it will not harm you if you ingest it so I decided to rip off the shrink wrap and test it out. It tasted just like it said it would: cocoa and mint. I made JT try it when he got home by putting some on my lips and kissing him upon his arrival. He licked his lips and said it tasted amazing. It's suppose to be for your body so I tried it on my dry legs and cracked heels and it worked lovely. It is intended for intimate time with your partner which I have yet to get since the move but school is ending soon and they kids are with the other parent for 1 entire month in the summer, lol.

Inside the box was also an all natural lubricant. This is super important to us ladies. Besides the bedroom, let's talk about things that happen as we age. Parts don't work like they use to and sometimes you might need a little personal lubricant to get things back to the balance that they once were. This is great for doing just that and you don't have to worry about chemicals that could harm our most sensative areas.

Feel free to check them out on the website or visit them on
Twitter or Facebook and tell them Blended With Love sent you.

P.S. I should be done with the book soon and I promise to let your guys know what I think of it.

Hair Coverings Review and Giveaway

I am the queen of covering my head. It has nothing to do with anything religious but I love baseball caps, wraps and anything to cover my hair, especially on a bad hair day. Recently we received a shipment from Cover Your Hair. I was asked what I would like to review but I don't like to do it that way. I like to open the box and be surpries and boy was I this time.

Let me say that I have always wanted a Beret and don't think I won't be rocking this one because I will, it just wasn't what I was thinking, even though I knew what I was getting was a surprise. Please don't think that berets is all they have because they have so many other things too.

They have a variety of head wraps, hats, clips, bows, belts and even a myster gift lol. They are very well priced and they have EXCELLENT customer service. You too are going to have the chance to be surprised because they are giving away a mystery box to one of our readers....yeah!!

Pure Romance Review

Let's face it ladies, we could all use some romance in our lives. It was several years ago that I went to my first Pure Romance Party. At first I was skeptical until I read an article called the The Marriage Bed that was writter by a Pastor explaining about "spice" in your relationship with your spouse.

To be honest, I was super excited to get the very pretty box in the mail and see what goodies laid inside. This post is a little different because I am not going to get very descriptive or go too person, bet you guys are glad, lol.

There is really something for everyone at Pure Romance. We received a personal puff that is waterproof for bath time plus it's an amazing shade of baby pink with a little silver bullet right in the middle. Great for those who are just starting out and who are wanting to try things on their own terms. We also received 2 lubricants. The first one we received was Whipped in strawberry. I had to taste it so I put a little bit on my finger when I opened it and it tasted good. i was expecting some type of funky after taste but no. The other is called Just Like Me because it really is. Just put a little on the end of your finger and rub it against the back of you hand and see what I mean.

I also received a rash free shave cream called Coochy. My dad said he loves this stuff. I guess my mom has been buying it and he uses it to shave. My dad has very dry skin, as does my mom and they swear this stuff is great for moisture and there are no red bumps or rash.

My favorite item is called Ex.T. Cee....OMG ladies is all I can say about this arousal cream. Just try it and see.

There were some other items in the box but I will just tell you to check out their website. Also see if there is a Pure Romance Consultant in your area and have a party.

Divorce Party, Bachelorette Party, Girls Night Party, Drinking Party, Man Hating Party, Man Loving Party.....the list goes on and on

Carolina Pad Mother's Day Review and Giveaway

Being the mother to 6 children means we have lots of moments at our house: favorite ones, special ones and even embarassing ones. With Mother's Day being just next Sunday, May 8th, it got me to really thinking about how great it is to be a mother.

It was hard for me to pick just one Mommy Moment so I decided to do one moment with each child.

Joel:  Joel has been playing football since he was 5 years old. He will be 15 this year. When he was 11 they played a very tough team. Coming from my family, we have all learned how to be very vocal and I cheered my son on. Now my son plays both defense and offense so he plays most of every game. When the game was over, he was nasty and sweaty, carrying his helmet and Gaterade as we walked out to my car.
Joel: Mom I can hear you yelling when I'm on the field.
Me: Good you know I'm cheering you on.
Joel: Yeah but Mom, I'm 11 and I wish you would stop yelling GO BABY because it embarasses me in front of my friends.

Lesson Learned. I felt so bad I had embarassed him and realized he was growing up.

Jonathan: The kids were there for the summer and after bathtime I said we were going to play cards. Since it was hot outside and it was before I remarried, I allowed the boys to have on their boxer shorts and a tank top. When Jonathan sat down, his boxers were a little loose and for the first time in many years I saw what God gave him.

Lesson Learned: Buy smaller boxers, make them wear shorts until bedtime and your son can be as embarassed as you can be

Bryan: BB is not my biological child and we only have a little over a year's worth of experiences with each other. This weekend when they got to the house, remember we are currently living seperate until the kids are done with school, he ran up to me, gave me a huge hug and said how much he missed me. It melted my heart.

Lesson learned: If you love your non-bio kids the same way you love your bio kids, they will love you the same way in return.

Jillian:  I use to get dressed in front of my 2 daughters. I figured that they were young enough that it didn't matter. We were getting ready to go to a football game and they were in the bathroom getting dressed with me. I pulled off my PJ pants and put on jeans when the conversation started.
Jill: Mommy can I ask you a question?
Me: Sure
Jill: Why do you wear panties that your butt hangs out of (referring to thong panties)

I couldn't even answer the question but instead decided to NEVER change in front of my girls again.

Alexis: Lexi is the child that looks the most like me and who is also the one who is already starting to pay me back for all the greef I gave my mom but one thing about Lexi is that she knows how to make you smile. It wasn't too many weeks ago that I was doing laundry at my mom's. Lexi came in the house with her hands cupped and told me that MeMe (my mom) said to bring me this. Now I am TERRIFIED of rodants of any kind and when she opened her hands to show me, I totally flipped out thinking she was holding a mouse.
Lexi: Mom, stopped flipping out already it's just a little rabbit
Me: (standing on the bed squealing like a pig) How do you know
Lexi: (opening her hands and using her finger to lift the ears) Look Mom it has rabbit ears now come down and stop freaking out. Gosh.

Lesson Learned: Sometimes our kids have to remind us to pull ourselves together

Nicholas: Nick is our family clown. He is always good for a laugh and other than the fact he looks just like his bio mom, you would swear this kid belonged right in our family with his antics. We had our entire family over to our home last summer for a cookout. I got the kids a Slip N Slide, water guns and water balloons. All the kids were having a good time and here came Nick to where the grown ups were.
Nick: Mommy I need you
ME: Why what's going on?
Nick: LOOK

Nick yells so everyone will turn and look at him holding 2 pink balloons up to his chest

Nick: I have BOOBIES!!!

Lesson Learned: Kill your father in law the next time you see him lol

Seariously, I love being a Mom and when I added these 2 little guys to my family, it made it one BIG amazing family that I wouldn't trade for the world.

Bow Allure Review & Giveaway

My girls love bows, even Alexis who has shorter hair right now. Sometimes the girls and I will make some bows together but I can never quit make them look like the ones done by craftsman like Bow Allure. When Bow Allure agreed to send us some bows for review, I had no idea what they were going to send us. I like that about reviews and giveaways. Yes, it’s nice to know what is coming but I like the surprise of opening the box and seeing the surprise waiting inside. Let me tell you that we were not disappointed.

I’m not sure how Bow Allure pegged my daughters so well but they hit it on the head. Alexis is kind of our preppy girl, I hate to label so the argyle clippies were great for her. When she saw them she took one off the package and put it in her hair to the side. Since her hair is shorter, this is her preferred style . Jillian is a little different. It didn’t matter that the other set of clippies was polka dots but the fact they were green. I am telling you, without knowing my girls, they hit it right on the head.

The clippies are great for short hair, fine hair or attached to the mesh headbands. Bow Allure has a large selection of bows including bows in a ton of designs, the clippies, headbands for the littlest girls in our lives, hairbow holders and gift boxes for a personal touch,.

Bow Allure has also decided to offer one of our readers their own little surprise box.

Popcorners Review & Giveaway

Any parent with a child who wears braces knows the challenges of food and snacks. Most things BB does very well with but he misses popcorn. Imagine how excited I was when I found a company called Popcorners.

Popcorners taste just like flavored popcorn or if you like it with just butter, they have that too. These guys look similar to tortilla chips but are not at all as hard of a crunch as tortilla chips are. We received several bags of sample sizes and 3 large bags of various flavors. I was the first to try them out and since I was craving salty, I went with the Sea Salt ones to start out with. They were great. I didn’t want anyone to know I sampled the goods without them, we usually do it all together, so I hid the wrapper way down in the trash, lol.

When everyone got home I pulled out the box with the funny little old man on the front of it and revealed what we had gotten. Everyone looked through the various flavors. BB was most excited about the Kettle Corn and JT was most excited about the Jalepeno Cheddar. Being that BB hasn’t eaten popcorn in over a year, I let him have the kettle kind first. He thought they were going to taste like chips but when he ate it, he was so excited.
“It really tastes like popcorn!” He yelled like he had just won first chair in band, important things to my 11 year old son.

My husband said the texture is a little different but I think they were wonderful and so did the boy. Popcorners would be great for anyone who has braces or other dental work that prohibits them from eating popcorn. It’s also great just because and not bad like those sugary after school treats.

The folks at Popcorners have agreed to send one surprise box to one of our readers.

Giveaway ends at midnight on May 17th. Winners will have 48 hours to reply or an alternate winner will be chosen.
