May 1st, can you believe it? It is almost time for school to be out, for grasshoppers to be in full force and for the Texas sun to start reaking it's havoc on the land. This month is the end of a semester at college, the end of the school year at work and the start of my being able to focus on my blog again.
Today's topic: PEACE
Sure, there are a million things that people may consider peaceful but for me, this photo of my daugher says it all. i cherish this photo of Jill (which of course she is embarassed by). This day she, my hubby and I all went to my Nanny's funeral. Around Jill's neck is a heart shaped necklace, something that is a special memory for me of my Nanny. In the backseat, are 2 plants from the funeral that I have somehow managed to keep alive and here is my precious baby girl. She is sound asleep, at peace, wrapped up in my leapord print blanket. To me this photo is what peace represents.
