I work with some interesting personalities each day so I can tell many favorite stories but my most favorite story from today does not even involve any of the ladies I work with. Today we were suppose to have a manager's meeting. I don't care for manager's meetings mainly because some of the other manager's sit around and talk like we are in elementary school rather than listen so we can get done. I also don't care for the meetings because of a certain attendee we have each meeting and the fact I walk back into chaos when I get back to my school but this morning I was looking forward to getting out of the office.
Our big boss is a Coke drinker and MIL and I are Dr Pepper drinkers so I have tried to make it a habit of stopping by Wags before going to get us some DP. This morning I was also on top of things and had all my paperwork ready. I get to Wags about 3 minutes before they open so I sat in my car waiting for the lady to unlock the door. Once inside, I headed straight to the Dr Pepper and MIL is calling me on my cell phone to tell me, guess what, the meeting is canceled. Just my luck......that was my funny story for the day
