Journaling Your Way Through May ~ May 10th

May 10th ~ What your family is like right now

I am assumming this means my immediate family?

JT: Started a new job but not really new to him since he worked there before he went to C. It actually works out much better except having to get use to him being home at night. He recently went on blood pressure medicine and is recovering from an injury but I did manage to get him out at the track last night.

Joel: I haven't seen in 2 weeks because they are donig Spring football. He is quickly coming to the end of his Freshman year in high school and is in that ackward teenage phase of trying to figure out where you fit in the world, what to do with the rest of your life, girls and testing his authority. Overall, he is an amazing kid.

Jonathan: Is still the mama's boy he has always been. He isn't as excited about Joel regarding the upcoming football season but he is excited about getting to work out with mom this summer. I am going to pick him up tomorrow. He is almost as tall as Joel, something is is super proud of and hopes that he is taller than Joel. The football coaches love it because he is so tall and stout.

Bryan: Is figuring out how to move on after a 3 year relationship with his school girlfriend and having some issues coping with being a late bloomer when it comes to puberty. Bry is by far the most comfortable with who he is really and doesn't care what anyone says about his taste in things. He is working hard in band and considering trying basketball next year.

Jillian: is turning out to be quite the young lady. I am super proud of her for not following right in my footsteps. I look at my beautiful baby and remember all the crazy things I had already done by the time I was her age and it makes me proud she has a good head on her shoulders.

Nicholas: is still the character of our family. He is funny and whitty but he has a soft side too. He is a daddy's boy, which drives me nuts at time because JT can't even breath without Nick being right there. I'll be glad when my boy can come live with us on a full-time basis.
